HKN Professional Biography
Brian P. Chan is a senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is currently enrolled in the electro-physics track, with a particular specialty in hardware, circuit, and PCB design. He is currently a hardware engineer for the Smart Campus Energy Lab (SCEL) and serving as a member of the MicroMouse Executive Board. Expecting to graduate in the Spring 2016 semester, he will be moving to California with a job as a RF Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation. Outside of school, his hobbies include gaming, eating, sleeping, hiking, and traveling.
Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?
I want to live in the DC Universe because all my favorite super heroes are in it.
Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island?
My hometown is Honolulu and my favorite place on the island is home.
Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?
I would like to be able to travel to all the places on my bucket list by 2020
Q: What inspired you to join HKN?
I was inspired to join HKN because of my friends and fellow classmates.
