David Liang
HKN Professional Biography
David Liang is currently a junior pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. His current academic interests include programming, networking, and cybersecurity. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career that fulfills his interests. His hobbies include playing the piano, trying new foods, and being a part of the University of Hawaiʻi Marching Band. Q: What inspired you to join HKN? I saw my invitation to HKN as a given opportunity for me to meet new people and ultimately become more involved with the EE community here at Mānoa. Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island? I grew up here in Honolulu and graduated from McKinley High School. One of my favorite places has got to be the Tantalus lookout. I really enjoy the view overlooking the whole city. Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why? It would be neat to live in the city of New New York from "Futurama." I could check out the Professor's many phenomenal inventions and pay a visit to Madison Cube Garden. Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list? I would like to try every Loco Moco in Hawaiʻi and maybe one day concoct the perfect Moco on my own. |
