George Zhang
HKN Professional Biography
George B. Zhang is an electro-physics EE undergraduate student at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. He develops liquid-metal reconfigurable electronics as part of Dr. Wayne Shiroma and Dr. Aaron Ohta’s Microwave/Millimeter Wave Research Lab. George intends to graduate with a B.S. in May 2017, attend graduate school to study electromagnetics and neuroscience, and hopefully become a research professor. Outside of academics, George loves weightlifting and playing video games. Q: What inspired you to join HKN? I knew that my friends would join, and I have very few friends. Also, HKN is recognized nationally. Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island? I live in Waikiki, and my favorite place is UHM's Warrior Rec Center. Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why? I want to live in Runescape, because I have 104,498,491 EXP in strength there. But then, I'd have to change my avatar from female to male. Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list? I want to become a research professor (and enter the 1000-lb club). |
