Kristie Lee
HKN Professional Biography
Kristie Lee is a senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (electro-physics track) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her academic interests are in hardware design. She is an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Eta Kappa Nu (HKN). Expecting to graduate in the Spring 2016 semester, she will be moving to Washington state to pursue a career in electrical engineering. Outside of school, her hobbies include watching television, knitting, and playing with puppies.
Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?
I would want to live in the Lego Movie because of how awesome everything is.
Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island?
I am from Salt Lake and my favorite place on the island is the movie theaters.
Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?
Before I kick the bucket, I would like to accomplish learning how to ride a bicycle.
Q: What inspired you to join HKN?
Because I enjoyed being a part of SWE so much, I saw joining HKN as another great opportunity to be a part of a close-knit community that encourages teamwork and friendship.
