Travis Tanaka
HKN Professional Biography
Travis Tanaka is a senior pursing a bachelore's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Interested in understanding the mechanics and concepts of electrical devices and circuits, Travis chose to specialize in the electro-physics track. Currently, Travis is the forecasting lead for the Smart Campus Energy Lab (SCEL) and the bridge correspondent of the Delta Omega Chapter of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN).
Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?
I would choose to live in the universe of "My Neighbor Totoro" because the movie's setting is peaceful and the characters are colorful and lively.
Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island?
My hometown is Aiea, HI. My favorite place on the island is his hometown Aiea.
Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?
I wish to experience snow and build a snowman.

I joined HKN because I wish to get move involved with the engineering community at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
