Allie Kim
HKN Professional Biography
Allie Kim is a senior in computer engineering. Her academic interests include embedded software and programming. She is currently working in the Smart Campus Energy Lab on the unified software team to write firmware for a weather data collection box. She also serves as the vice chair of the IEEE Student Branch at UH Manoa. After graduation, she hopes to move to the Bay Area and work as a software engineer. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, sleeping and eating. Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why? I would want to live in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory because I love chocolate and candy. Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island? I was born in Mililani and my favorite place on the island is the North Shore. Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list? From my bucket list, I would most like to visit Times Square on New Year's Eve. Q: What inspired you to join HKN? I joined HKN to meet other electrical and computer engineering students and to get more involved with the EE community here at UH Manoa. |
