HKN Professional Biography
Dylan Sodetani is currently a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering in the Electro-Physics track at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. His academic interests include circuits, embedded systems, electromagnetics, and renewable energy. After graduating, he plans to pursue a career in electrical engineering on Oahu or on the west coast, and he may possibly pursue a master's degree. During his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, watching YouTube, volunteering for Science Olympiad, and playing video games. Q: What Inspired You to Join HKN? I joined HKN to connect with other engineering students and become more involved with the university. I have heard many positive things from my friends who are HKN alumni, and I wanted to experience it for myself! Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island? I was born and raised in Waipahu, Hawaii. My favorite place on island is Waikele because it's a relaxing place to walk around and meet up with friends. Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why? I would want to live in the world of Pokemon because I would love to befriend a bunch of different Pokemon. Who wouldn't want to fly around on the back of a Charizard? Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list? I would like to picnic in Japan under the cherry blossom trees at least once in my lifetime. |
